Obviously I know what I'm talking about and you do not. I've greatly researched the British constitutional monach and know quite a lot about it.

As a New Zealand citizen, not a royal subject, and as tutor for 3 years on NZ constitution I would say your "greatly researched" information is actually rather poor. there is far more power with our prime minister than with the monarch.
the monarch can only dismiss a government in a constitution crisis not on a whim. the monarch is limited by the constitution. |

| Why does this unfortunate incident have to with Korean stupidity? I would agree if you chose topics like fan death, no gargae cans in streets, labor strikes annoying many othe people and businesses, etc.. |

No way! That sounds out there to me. What studies or am I completely missing a joke?
There is also no such thing as a british accent, different parts of Britain have wildly different accents. A guy talking in a scouse accent wouldn't make me bow to his opinion, just check for my wallet. thats a joke scousers.  |

Finally got around to this. The following quote, which I partially misrepresented, is from the book Do You Speak American?, a look at the evolution of American English:
Katherine Jones, a sociologist at Philadelphia University, herself a British immigrant, studied American attitudes toward English accents encountered by British expatriates living in the United States. She concluded that, in addition to being charmed by British accents, Americans often assumed British speakers were smarter and better educated and would always know what they were talking about. She quoted one Englishman as saying that if he wanted to get his point of view across he would emphasize the English accent, because others took more notice of him: "You suddenly become more eloquent. . . . It manipulates the situation. You can have people thinking that you are saying something more important than you actually are!" |

Wow, very interesting. I wonder if I could use my irish accent for this kind of thing. It would probably end up having the opposite effect. |
