Are you taking on new "semi-geeks"? I have always had an s-load of electronics, so that might qualify me. If so, I might be able to make it. |

why not? everyone is welcome. Technotards as well as uber alpha geeks. The only thing is that there will be a focus on tech and some tech shopping after coffee. |

When you exit the station to the area sandwiched between Yongsan station and the Space 9 shopping plaza, go right towards the skywalk that will normally take you to the heart of the electronics market. Before the second right turn that takes you to the entrance of the skywalk, there is a set of doors that take you to the upper levels of Yongsan station. Go in these dorrs and use the escalator. Continue up until you see the Starbucks; it's clearly visible from the escalator.
Again, exit the station and go right, passing the "Yucky" Dunkin Donuts on your left. Before the end of the Yongsan station building, on the right, there are a set of doors that will take you back into the station, but to the upper floors. This is your door, then use the escalator to go up. |
When you say "the heart of the electronics market" are you referring to the shopping mall attached to the train station? When I go through the tunnels under the tracks I thought that was the "heart".
I'm looking at Google Earth and it seems my idea of north was actually northeast. (Is that a golf course on top of Emart?) Is the walkway the
blue thing going over the railroad tracks? Why didn't anyone tell me
about the walkway? I've been going through the tunnel.

Ask for the Starbucks in Yongsan station.
Sorry...North, south...I am perpetually lost it seems. I just follow the silicon scent emanating from Najin...

This is beginning to sound like an event for those that already have relations in the geek-together fashion. No worries, I have friends already. |
