Can anyone explain the differnce in spelling, for someone with blonde hair?

Don't worry about it, it's yellow hair in Korea. And I think that's pretty much true for everyone unless your hair is black.

It's male/female residue from its French roots - blond=male, blonde=female.

And nowadays, NAers spell it blond, British English Blonde.

Some of our smarter 5th graders (elem.) were describing people as having yellow hair. So I told them about people with yellow hair being known as being blonde.

It was only in teachers English club, that I learnt that people used different spellings!

In the US:

male: blond
female: blonde
