I disagree. Yes, misogyny SHOULDN'T be an issue on these boards, however, the reality is different...because unfortunately, misogyny does exist on these boards. I am not interested in battling it out with Jinju in another thread. I don't want to battle Jinju anymore...it's a waste of time and energy. |

Well, I tried. If you won't agree to stop insulting me...then I don't know what else I can do. You stop insulting me, I stop insulting you - I think it's more than a fair compromise. You want me to leave this board? Yeah, right.
I insulted your wife...to imply that you didn't have a wife. You've insulted me time and time again...you implied that I would be making my living as a hooker in Korea. You jump into threads simply to insult me...not because you have anything positive to contribute to the discussion.

I did no such thing. The implicatio was straight out of your "Is my ideal situation realistic" thread where I said that you will also get a company car. It was a sarcastic implication that you would be making an LG manager's salary straight off the plane. The hookder implication wasnt there, you saw what you wanted to see. |

You're exactly right. When Kermo posted her moral dilemma involving the rape of her friend, people should have had the decency to show some sensitivity. And the mods should have been a little more "hands-on" in insisting on sensitivity from everyone who posted to that thread. The way they handled it (or rather chose not to handle it) gives the impression that they condone a misogynistic climate on these forums, and that's inexcusable.

Well Im sorry but what you want is for us to be sheep and buy the whole story. As I said in that thread, this is a discussion forum, not a court of law. But what Kermo anted was a conviction and an execution. I for one am not buying stories without seeing both sides.
And please for the LOVE OF GOD, stop with the misogyny crap. It is NOT misogyny to be skeptical when its basically a "He said, she said" 2nd hand account. |
