upon receiving said documents (transcripts), i was told 'It is sealed but there is no uni stamp on the sealed part' and was asked to provide another copy.

I think the reason they require a stamp/seal is to prevent folks from sending forgeries... What's to distinguish you transcript from just any ordinary piece of paper? |

Because that is too logical a thing to do. They have to create more work for themselves by sending the transcripts back to you

Yeah, but do they want a document that "will scream void when touched w/ bleach"? No, or they would have asked you for one. Dude, you seriously better get w/ the program and maybe learn how to read a little it might even help you in your job as a teacher, |

what really gets me is that the exact same transcripts were fine last year.
(i know: let's try and recruit more teachers this year by making our standards more annoying)
well, the new ones are in the mail. let's see if there's another hissy fit. |

This happened to me as well. You just gotta roll with the punches man. I was pretty rabid for a while about it as you obviously are now. |

Actually, I 'm pretty sure they require a seal from the issuing Uni and not a homemade one. When I sent for mine I don't remember the immigration office stating anywhere in writing that a homemade stamp would suffice. I'm almost positive it has to be a stamp from your school. |

Right Spliff it does. It has to be an authentic university rubber stamp with a plastic seal or coating covering it (unbroken).
There's been lots of threads with pictures posted about this here already. |

I heard that you also have to send them a video of yourself running around a green and white striped pole three times. It's a requirement. |

I know how it is. It makes you wonder, if Korea REALLY wants experienced teachers. I think they REALLY don't, because of the hoops and other things we have to go through. I hope this makes sense, because I am REALLY tired today. I need to get out and enjoy the sunshine. |

What you really need to do is drink a whole quart of Jack Daniels and then go out and scream at the locals.
It's cleansing. |
