|
|
First off, let me state that I'm not attacking Koreans for being bad at English. I know learning English can be hard, especially when you come from a country that teaches you to frear and loathe anything foreign. Furthermore, I know WHY they make these mistakes and can usually accept them quite patiently and try to help them out. But sometimes they annoy the heck out of me.
The worst thing about all these mistakes is that it's not only students who make them. Most of the teachers do as well!
My biggest pet peeve is not knowing when to use boring and bored. Which bug you the most? |

Subject/verb agreement. That was a pet peeve of mine back in the states too. Guess I'm a grammar nerd. |

I find "Teacher Adam what's your name?" to be particularly grating on a few levels. |

The wetu fishi swamu by the man reading the bigu booku sometimes proves irritating. Yet small children laugh at my Korean without fail therefore more than likely making me a hypocrite. |
