The search function is not working.

What ARE the best Korean learning websites?

Are there good news websites that show a lot of news clips with accompanying text?

Is there another good way to learn Korean by using the internet?

Thank-you very much

Assuming you are not currently in Korea, Friendsabroad.com will be an incredible help! While not a Korean learning website, it is a website designed to help people whe speak one language and want to learn another find people who speak the other language and want to learn yours. Just talking to people is the best way to learn a language obviously. Of course, you will have to use other resources as well.

An online translator is very useful when talking to people in a language you don't understand yet, but I have not found a Korean to English translator that is at all good! The ones I have found tend to output nonsense. Anyone know of one?

And then , finally to answer you actual question, I have found this site very helpful although it is certainly for complete beginners. If you are a complete beginner, it does a very good job of getting you onto the path to learning Korean:

also, a very good one for intermediate. basically an entire college course with audio online for free:

the one mentioned above (sogang) is one of the best.

I second the Sogang recommendation.

If you want to meet a Korean language partner go to www.hanlingo.com I've met many people off of this site and most are serious about learning English AND helping you with your Korean.
