Buying a digital camera to Yongsan.. (Need Help)

i still recomend going in and trying several first, find out what works for you. A camera is something you will have for a few years and play around with the functions take your time, and do not let the sellers talk you into anything

Thanks, but the seller didn't talk me into it. I did that part. I really tried to do my homework. I got a 8.0 megapixel camera, 3X zoom, 2.5 inch screen, and image reliability, rechargeable battery... I like its look as well...

Canon cameras are awesome, in particular the Digital Elph line up. The menus are so much easier to use than other cameras. I would have recommended that you head down to the camera shops near Namdaemun market, as the prices there are way better than the dude at Yongsan.

I had a coworker purchase a Canon IXUS 75 (Jap. warranty), Canon leather case, 2GB CF card, extra battery, and cleaning kit for 285,000w. An awesome deal in my opinion.
