Any of these available in the foreign markets (or anywhere) in/near Seoul? (I did do a search query first, but Cheetos is not specific enough and Hot Cheetos came up empty)

A friend in Seoul is asking me to bring these from home, but I want to save as much precious luggage space as possible, and it's pretty annoying to schlep big bags of junkfood in my carryon through the airports only to find the same products (albeit at inflated prices) for sale over there.

I *have* seen Flamin' Hot Cheetos for sale at the front store in the Hannam Market in the Volvo building, but that was 2 years ago, so I don't know if they still carry them.

I just saw Chili con Limon flavor Cheetos and Lays here in the States (and if you like hot & sour stuff, they are tasty! A big improvement over the Flamin' Hots), so I don't know if anyone has seen them in Korea yet.

I have never found Sriracha sauce in Korea (the chili sauce that resembles ketchup). This seems really weird, being the land of chili peppers and garlic and all, but maybe I was just not paying attention, as usual. I'm looking for the squeeze bottle, bright red kind (not the paste with the whole seeds), preferably the brand with the rooster on it (green cap, clear plastic bottle with white Vietnamese, Chinese, and English words on it). If it's at Costco, even better, because my friend does consume this in bulk, but I'm willing to go to any store for it!

If you have seen any of these 3 items for sale anywhere in or near Seoul, please let me know! (PM me or reply to the post)

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!

I have purchased Flamin' Hot Cheetos three different months over the last couple of years from "The Red Door" in Itaewon (leftside a couple of crosswalks down the hill from the BurgerKing corner)

The hot ones are the only ones I can find. Man, I remember in the mid '80s they had Bacon Cheetos for just a little while. It's too bad they didn't go over well; those things were delicious.

they've got some jalapen~o cheetos here, now, too, but not as good as chili limon! i think it's been a long-standing flavor combo in mexico, but is only now becoming a main-stream offering in the u.s. (not specifically for cheetos, but for snack food in general).

and i guess i shoulda done a search query on "sriracha", because one person did mention it being at costco in the Homever thread. (did they also say it was at homever or homeplus? i'll have to recheck).

thanks for the quick responses! Smile
