There is a nice public school job there and I'm trying to find the right spelling so I can look it up online. It's supposed to be 20min away from Seoul? |

I have no idea what that could be, but the closest I can think of is Gunpo. |

Do you mean Gunpo? About 30 mins by train into Southern Seoul. Not much of landmark.
Just work in Seoul! It's the best option for 1st year teachers. |

Take the PS gig. Having a good job close to Seoul is much better than having a crappy job in Seoul. Trust me, I've done both.
Now I've got the best of both worlds.
It is nice being in the middle of stuff your first year. It's easier to meet people, get acclimated, etc. You also have the benefit of working with other foreigners who have been there longer, etc.
I guess it depends on the kind of person you are and what you're looking to get out of the experience here. |

Gunpo is not far away at all. It's very close to Anyang and if you're lucky you'll wind up in Sanbon. |

So i have actually been offered the job. Sanbon is the area around the Sanbon station stop, correct? There are at least a few bars to go to right? Like that Pirate bar I've seen people talking about here? Do people go on weeknights? |
