Does anyone know if there is anywhere in Seoul to buy Halloween costumes? I want to find something for Halloween with the kiddies.

Yes, I know they don't celebrate Halloween, but occasionally you can find "western" holiday things. I was just wondering if anyone knew where costumes can be obtained.

Check out Costco. Last time I was there, they had some really cute costums for kids in a big bin. They also have some cool x-mas stuff out already. Membership costs 30,000 and is worth every penny (Just for 2000 won Kosher dogs on a bun, in the cafe).

Not sure if they have costumes, but here is a pretty good Halloween shop:

Go to Ewha Women's University subway stop. Head directly down the streen towards Ewha. If you're going towards Ewha, it's on the right side of the street. I can't remember how far you have to go, but it's easy to spot -- a newer looking shop. Just keep looking in all of the windows as you head to Ewha.

I'm seriously thinking about dressing up at my hogwan on Halloween. I brought the fixins for a basic vampire from home.

There's gotta be a costume shop somewhere in Seoul. Possibly Itaewon?

Anyone have ideas for homemade costumes? I'd go as the classic ghost if I had a white sheet;)

Next to the train station in Suwon, there's an "American style" mall that has a shop that sells lots of Halloween type stuff. Pricey, but great! If you're teaching the kindy's, you could have them make masks from paper plates and decorate bags. Have a few moms in the neighborhood provide snacks for "trick or treaters." Did that once and had a ball! Talk it up with your director. A bunch of "Halloween dressed" students parading through the neighborhood is great advertisement!

Just do a yahoo/google/whatever search...I've a rather large non-Korean community here, so will have fun this hallow's eve...even have about 50 pumpkins...already carved out 2! Goofy as heckle....but....

Shoosh,
