(He was sporting an SMG, not an M4 in the book AND Guns were pretty much useless in the book.)

From the book: "He was a tall man, thirty-six, born of English-German stock, his features undistinguished except for the long, determined mouth and the bright blue of his eyes, which moved now over the charred ruins of the houses on each side of his."

It's cool though, I like Will Smith.

Looks promising. Good premise. Better than another sequel!

The movie looks good but I'm getting tired of zombie flicks.

Wasn't "the Omega Man" staring Charleton Heston a movie based upon the novella as well? I remember that one from long ago.

Loved the book, hated Omega man. Probably one of the worst adaptations I've ever seen.

Loved Omaga Man. The book bored me as a kid, I must say ...

The book was a masterpiece of science fiction and vampire novels.

The movie(omega man) was a masterclass in 70s corniness and changed the whole idea of the book..as in he is completely alone, where did the black chick come from.

The book illustrates the desperation and depression of a man who has seen everyone he loves die and sometimes reanimate.

The movie shows charlton heston running around in short shorts.

It takes a special type of person to like that movie and a special(short bus) person to like the movie more than the book.
