I'm still able to access the site quite quickly.
Just so you can compare, I'm with KT Megapass. I'm using XP with IE at this time and on this computer. The com is still pretty good, but far from cutting edge now.

first time without being cached: almost 3 seconds.
after being cached: ~ 1 second.
I use KT Megapass premium service. |

since you're running an intel processor, why dont you try installing winxp via bootcamp and see how it goes in IE?
