Did you sign it and do you have a receipt?

Call your CC company and they will sort it out for you.

What azzwipes...I'd go back and talk to the manager and demand she be fired! She probably charged you for all the tickets (plus another?) and pocketed the cash your friends paid. Stupid b1tch...she deserves to to hung by her mams and loose her good name...but, she'll probably only end up with having to sleep w/ her boss a couple times... Surprised

Maybe the clerk should just be strung up and hung, tared and feathered?
Sounds like maybe she did not understand English that well and got confused?

OH man, she charged you for your friends tickets while forgetting that your friends paid in cash for theirs. Thats like 150,000 Won extra charge? Yuck.

When I handle the bill payment in restaurants and bars, it is often thought that I am paying for the people sitting next to me that I had been talking with so I have to correct the bill collectors on that one. I have been fearing to use plastic cards for this very reason so I pull cash out of the ATM to spend though 300,000 Won can make a wallet rather fat and over weight while 1,000,000 Won cash would have to stored in a purse or backpack. Maybe that's why there are mens' purses here. LOL!

I understand your situation, you had no idea that you were paying for your friends KTX fares.
Did you get a receipt at the time of sale showing how much you were being charged? Did you have to sign a slip to authorize a card charge? I bought a camera at Homeplus with my Korean debit card and did have to sign to authorize the charge.

I would try calling KORAIL about it and then proceed from there. Maybe you can show proof by showing your friends receipts of paying in cash and your credit card account printout in order to correct the charges. I would think the people in the executive and finance dept. in Seoul can speak some English which is who you might call on this problem.

Yeah, that's it...why wouldn't anyone want to pay the price for six tickets and receive only three. it's the OP's fault.

What's the big deal? A cashier made a mistake, nobody's perfect!
OP, you take half the blame for being naiive enough to sign a receipt without checking.

A small error could have been corrected on your side, instead you blame all of Korea and it's failure to learn English from Teachers like you.

You can try and go back with the ticket stubs and explain that situation to the supervisor or manager on duty. If you're lucky, the same girl at the counter will remember you, since you weren't the only customer, maybe and only maybe the only foreigner that day.....

However on the other hand.....anyone could march up to a counter and claim that they were overcharged without proof - i'm just being the devil's advocate here.

I was thinking the same thing. OP, didn't you notice that your ticket was 4x the price when you signed the reciept?

If you didn't have to sign anything, I apologize, but then I have to ask why didn't you have to sign anything.

He didn't necessarily sign a piece of paper with the price on it. Often times you just scribble on those little digital pads that don't say the price.

Your reciept says 40 000 won? Call your credit card company. They'll deal with it for you.
