nail on the head. Which leads me to ask, why haven't we had a story about the "Ultimate Warrior" dropping dead? |

Holy crap!
I don't think this is another druggie wrestler story. His whole family is dead.
Pity, he was one of my faves to watch |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Warrior_speaks_at_DePaul_2006.jpg
"Warrior officially retired from wrestling in 1999. He found a new career as a conservative speaker and commentator, denouncing left-wing politics. Most notably, he mentioned that "queering doesn't make the world work" during a speech at the University of Connecticut. Warrior has explained those comments on his website as meaning that the human race would die out if everyone were a homosexual." (Wiki) |

Ditto...
They think it might be a murder-suicide.
My God. He was my favorite wrestler too. First Eddie and now him
And let's not forget Sensational Sherry (Also known as Scary Sherry) who died barely two weeks at 49 |

I just found out.
Benoit was a super good guy and a hard worker. Everyone, wrestlers and fans respected him.
He was scheduled to wrestle on Sunday at the PPV and win the ECW title. However, he rushed home for 'family emergency', as he said, and didn't attend the event.
That was the last anyone heard of him.
From the sounds of it, his wife went bonkers and killed him and his son, and committed suicide. But there is no conclusive evidence.
benoit was not on drugs. Anyone suggesting that is disrespecting the memory of a great man. |

Benoit was a steroid-head, surely. One of the best 'wrestlers' ever, though.
I'm sure it was a murder-suicide, with the little information we have out there so far.
He joins the list; Davey Boy Smith, Eddie Gilbert, The Von Erichs, Rick Rude, Curt Hennig, etc. |

Ah, so ESL teachers are no forensic experts now, eh?
It is a possibility though.
Sad..........sad.
Ya know, since 2003 (when I first came to Korea), SO MANY famous people have died. It is quite depressing, actually.

Well...my friend is reading reports that Chris may have killed his wife and son over the weekend and then killed himself sometime on Monday.
Either way...it is so sad I don't even want to talk to my kids about it...I have some real wrestling fans at my school....I'm sure they are going to come talk to me about what happened... |

Chris Benoit was one of the best wrestlers in the world.
Benoit, his wife and their 8 year old son were all found dead. Benoit's wife was in WCW for awhile as Woman and Nancy Suvllian.
This is a very sad day. |
