(1) Anyone know the opening hours for KB (Kookmin?) Bank?

I've got to pay for a flight - but don't want to have to 'apply' to my Principal for time off to go to a bank. I finish at 4.30 pm.

(2) Or, can I deposit into a KB account at ANOTHER bank (sort of a between bank transfer thing)?

Any comments appreciated.

KB's Banking hours are 9 till 4 or 4.30 in my town.

Why would you have to apply to your principal? Just go during one of your free periods that's what I do.

Everything, and I mean everything, has to be approved by the Principal. He is the Almighty. We must apply. Oh, I forgot, I don't have to apply to go to the bathroom - yet.

Thanks for the advice. I'll go and apply, right now.

That a real shame. It sounds like you are working under a dictator.
Is there a barbed wire fence and guards with dogs patrolling your school?

I'm pretty sure you can do deposits from an ATM. I've never done it, but in the US it's commonplace.

Btw, if you do go at opening time, be prepared for an elbow-throwing fiasco. When the gates come up, the people who were milling about turn into savages fighting for the prized first number ticket. Make sure you get up in there, or else you'll be waiting forever.

I'm at an inner city school in Seoul. There's a very high (prison like) fence surrounding our grounds. I have the choice of running the gauntlet of 'Checking Teachers' or MS 3 rd graders at 2 entrances. Either way, all my actions are noticed with a cheerful chorus of: "Hi's", "You handsome", "la la, la").
Nevermind, the Principal has just graciously 'approved' my sneaking off to the bank at 3pm (and not returning). Yippie. Gotta love all this paperwork though.

Why am I writing this inane stuff on Daves? Because today I have only 1 class. Yesterday 2 classes. Next week = no classes. Hmmmmm.
