So I can't seem to figure out the search function and I'm hoping someone can help me....

About this time last year, there was a post telling about some horror stories for a public school management company the had or does go by the name In The World.... I'm trying to find this particular post if it still exists in the database....

The key part I'm looking for is regarding the company holding back severance on teachers who had completed contracts....

Any more recent horror stories are also welcome....

Thanks....

I may be a minority, but I've had no major problems with them. The key, as with many employers in this country, is to stay on top of them. If there's something you need done, just keep reminding them. There's a bit of disorganization, but compared to my last job, it's an unbelievably good step up. I hear some of the Korean managers are awful, but I got lucky. Also, they recently hired foreign staff to actually do some of the managing of foreigners, so perhaps that's why it's been good for me? I've only been working with them for 3 months. Don't know anything about them withholding severance from anyone. Not saying it didn't happen, but I haven't heard about it. Feel free to PM with more questions!

Suffice to say there is a lot you don't know..... Like just how much money they take off the top each month among other things.... There was definitely a long long post about this company last year and I personally have seen some really shady stuff.... Many teachers seem willing to look the other way because they think they are being paid well....
