Ok,
I have heard legends about the custom tailored and relatively inexpensive suits that can be found in Seoul. I am fresh off the boat and looking to procure several of these said suits. Does anybody have any suggestions about where to start my search for a good tailor? I am interested in quality of price but would like to keep my expenses under 400,000/suit. Thanks |

There are some pretty good tailor shops around the Sinsa/Apgujeong area, not too hard to find within a ten minute walk from either station. Usually willing to make a deal if you're buying more than two suits. Got four well made suits tailored for around 800,000 won a few months back.
I'm sure others will give you more recommendations as to their favorite tailors. Cheers. |

Hahn's is quite well regarded in some of the sartorial forums out there.
he's located in Itaewon, near Noksapyeong (sp?) station.
also, the tailors located in the nicer hotels here (e.g. Grand Intercontinental) supposed have pretty good fabric in stock (e.g. Zegna) and do a decent job. probably cost a little more than Hahn's though.
the best place to get a suit in Asia is still supposedly Hong Kong though. |

I've used Hahn's a few times and have had great results, particularly compared to other generally-well-regarded Itaewon tailors. |
