I'm surprised that you are persisting with this interpretation of Freaka's potshot. Bramle's interpretation strikes me as correct.
Freaka was taking a potshot at the delightful jinju, not at jinju's wife with whom she had no issue. Her point was that jinju seemed so bloody awful, she couldn't imagine that he really had a wife, and that this wife that he was refering to, could only be a blow up doll. Not a big deal for most normal people. Not exactly 'insult of the year.' jinju was being a prat when he started making such a fuss. In fact he loved the excuse to make a fuss. He's a bully and an attention *beep*.
That you prefer to take the side of a well known bully like jinju rather surprises me, actually. |

I've said it many times, and NO ONE has adressed it : It is USING the loved one as a tool to take the pot shot - THIS is what is despicable.
Bramble, stop picking on me. I can't stand the way you follow me and continually harass me every chance you get. You're making me afraid, and I have a right to feel safe here.

Usolicited Advice
Why is it that people don't know that they can delete a PM before they even read it.
It's kinda like TV if you don't like the program change the channel.
If you recieve a PM from someone you don't want to hear from delete it.
If your read a PM you don't like, don't respond to it. |

While I rarely agree with The Bobster, he has made some good points here.
And I must ask Bramble, if you don't want The Bobster to reply to you...then why CONTINUE to post in a thread he started?
Are you trying to provoke him?
This post is a perfect example. You insult him AFTER telling him to leave you alone. That's not the actions of someone who really wants someone else to "leave them alone." YOU jumped into a thread started by him, and now YOU are telling him to leave you alone?
Lest anyone think otherwise, I am not a fan of the poster known online as The Bobster. In fact as I said above I rarely agree with him on just about any issue...but fair's fair.
As for what The Bobster said about THIS issue here is my stance. Attacking a poster's family member or friends is crossing a very clear line. Say what you will about me, and I will respond or not as I choose. But attack my family or friends...and off come the gloves. I usually try to be civil...but that is one of the very few issues that I see red when it occurs. |

Doesn't matter that the family member was not the target, what matters is that she was the tool used to hurt someone else. Where hypocrisy comes in is that the target is someone who is not quite the most popular fella around, so I'm thinking some people were clapping their hands with glee instead of thinking about what is the right thing. That's not good, not good at all. |

Oh for fk's sake. Who gives a rat's arse.
Tell your woman to go get you a beer and then go down on you. After you're finished tell her you're hungry and that she should go make you something to eat. Scoff it down and go out drinking with the boys. Come back whenever. If she complains, tell her that that's the way it is and if she doesn't like it, the door is not far away. |

Well, at least there's one guy we can't call a hypocrite ... something to be said for putting your faeces out on the table for everyone to see.
Okay, not MUCH to be said - is it better than people who call themselves feminists while watching other women being attacked and feeling glee? I'm still pondering ... |

Bramble, please stop attacking male posters you don't agree with, unless you can do so with the love and respect that every human being deserves. Your persistence in only attacking men is a clear sign of something that I am too polite to be more specific about. Argue ideas, go after wrong thinking - not people. Frankly, your pattern is becoming very obvious.

I often agree with both of you. She wanted to hurt a guy. She reached out and took a swipe at his wife. People who call themselves feminists think it's okay. I don't think it's okay.
