| Absolutely. I hate cats, think they should all be exterminated. Dogs are much a much more superior race imho. |

| I get mistaken for a racist often enough, and I do listen to racist music from time to time. Hell, I'm even listening to a song called "Heil the Swastika" by Pluton Svea as I type this. But I have 46 chromosomes, so I don't qualify. Oh yeah, and I'm married to a gook. There are a group of white supremacists back in Canada who are planning to attack me if they still remember when I get back or they aren't in jail. |

Of course you are right, but that's a pretty vanilla thing to say. Micheal Jackson wants to heal the world too.
Its going to take more than talk to deal with these issues. All the endless lip service intended to "raise awareness" has jaded people into apathy. We are raised into too many issues; they seem too big for people to deal with, so many just shut down. I have my set of causes, apparently you do too...that's great. One does what they can and will, but talk is cheap, so many do it.
At a point, words serve to desensitize people to the issue; it becomes background noise.
This is going into a place I swore I would never go on Dave's...Current Events.

Cats rule. Most are better than most humans. Of course, that's true about dogs, too. But, still ...
Women are better than men, too. That's not really about racism, I know, but sometimes I think they are SO much better than men as to constitute a separate species, and men recognize this on some level and we try to make ourselves better by being around them ...
Yeah, okay, I'm racist, but I work hard not to be. That's all we can do. It's one of the important things we need to do. And to try to remind others to try also. Even when it pisses people off. But all we can do is try. But we HAVE to do that much ...

Some cultures are more successful/advanced than others. No biggie there.
However the difference is more cultural than racial. Its to do with attitudes and information passed down through generations, not an inherent DNA superiority.
