The Lexus hotel is absolutely fantastic. It's a love motel but it's very luxuruous and modern. I paid 80,000 won a night. Best money I've ever spent. Huge plasma TV, PC, DVD, great shower room with steam room, and a bath tub which has all sorts of gadgets on it. It's a two minute walk from Gangnam station. ( think it's exit 8 ) |

Sorry I didn't notice the terminal part. It's actually Gangnam station. It's not that far though. A 4000 won cab should do it. Alternatively the subway will get you there in about 10 minutes. (one change included) |

There are not many cheap hotels around gangnam Bus station...
2 subway stops south there are quite a few though at Nambu Bus Terminal...
Get a taxi there(maybe 3000 won)....
Look for the KFC across the road and the big BC card building...
Just down the alley on the right is a motel I stay at which has a dark wooden exterior. it is 50 000 won a night and very good. It is a love motel be warned but very comfortable..the name of the place is "lavender Hotel"
Big TV, computer, DVD, porno, 3 condoms...you get the picture.
It is very clean as well.... |

I've stayed at the Hotel Lavender - which is connected to Hotel Herb. The rooms look nice and are clean, but they seem to have no maintenance skills at fixing anything (like their jacuzzi tubs or computers or steam room gadgets...)
I once had to change a room there three times to get a jacuzzi that worked .. .
For 75,000 or 80,000 (or more if check-in is earlier than 6pm) you can get a suite there with the same features that Gwanjuboy mentioned for the Lexus...
I think that it's Nambu Terminal Station (Orange line 3) exit 6 - go straight, first right, and you see the signs for Hotel Herb and Lavender...
Sometimes you can get a good Internet discount price on the Seoul Palace Hotel which is right near the Gangnam (actually Banpo) Bus Terminal. I've stayed there for under 100.000 won... |
