Just for kicks I decided to look at the resume postings. I can not believe the crap that people post there. Do teachers have no sense of professionalism?

Take for instance this posting

Quote:
I'm a 23 yr old UK native speaker with an MA majoring in English I have currently over 1 year experience teaching English in Thailand and Korea.I am in Korea at the moment at a decent Hagwon but I think I've had enough kids. My current contract expires in mid/late January and I am looking for a University job preferably in Seoul, Busan, Daegu.A job starting next Feb/March would be great. I'm tired of teaching kids so PLEASE ONLY UNIVERSITY JOBS TEACHING ADULTS.If you have a job like this you think I might be suitable for then please email me and I'll send my full resume and picture. I will NOT work in HAGWONS or TEACH kids!

Is it just me or is this post far to colloquial and lacking in professional attitude? color emphasis by me. over use of caps, demands, among other things seems to indicate to me that this person is not about to find a good job soon.

This is only one example, I looked at 10 random posts and could not find one person I would even consider interviewing.

I know what you mean.
When I posted my resume for university work I did not gripe about kids and hogwons. As for my resume, mine is on line and in my post I made the link avaliable.

The teacher co-ordinater at my university told me that over 80% of resumes get sent to the trash as people don't follow instructions, and don't even send a cover letter.

Some of applicants (if I can call them that) write a cover letter something onlong these lines

Can you believe this crap?
