Damn....I was in Technomart today and I saw Dickies pants for 49,000 KW. The same pants you can buy in Walmart or other places in the US for around $17-19.

Is that real?

Anybody know of someplace around here where a guy can find some decent prices on clothes.......i.e. pants, shirts, shoes.

That's Korea for ya! Expect to pay at least 2-3 times more for items of foreign origin.

Well I guess some people have to pay ridiculously high prices for things to keep the economy going, so thanks for your effort. Me? I don't pay more than$9.99 USD for fucking pants!

You don't buy nice pants(over $50 the vast majority of the time) to keep the economy going, you do it because they look good. Unless you are buying a pair to wear around the house, do gardening in or you are cheap don't buy crap pants.

Anyway its a waste of time buying cheap clothes. They rip, stretch quicker. Just buy something good and pay good money for it and you will save in the long run. And this way you get to not look like a hobo. We all win.

Good idea. You should check out this thread to see how many people are crazy about the show.

Mr. Geddes, it's Arrested Development. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfHYKHes3xc)

Now back to your regularly scheduled *beep* thread.

I once bought a pair of jeans in Korea for 128,000 won. They were really stylish, to the point that they still look pretty fresh today. I thought the price was outlandish, but alas, in this age of metrosexual, I just had to be different and have something to make me flashy as I was smoothing with my Asian girlfriend.

Went home 2 1/2 - 3 months later, went to an outlet, and saw the same exact pair, just as flawless as mine, marked down to $30.

Yeah, by the time hammer pants got popular in Korea, they were a little outdated in the original markets. Good to hear you're still rockin' em though. Wink
