Wow... you people are still *beep* about this?
It was a joke. Grow up.
For *beep* sake.... have you seen the quote at the bottom of my posts. I wouldn't take a guy like me serious, but somehow you mongoloids did.
Did any of you even bother to read the second post in this thread: http://blogcritics.org/archives/2007/06/14/233230.php
Here, let me quote it:

The humour that we chose and find funny is very revealing. You are expressing a lot of bitterness and rage against women, then covering your ass by saying it's just a joke. |

Let me add : it's the lamest kind of dishonesty.
(Word in the ear to Satori : "ass" is not on the list of banned words for the swear filter, so you don't have to play around to cheat it ... shhh, don't tell anyone.) |

I'm not expressing any biterness against women.
I think the Reed article was very well written, and very amusing.
I happen to agree with quite a few points he raised, and I consider him to be very accurately describing every single one of my married female relatives with exception to one.
Personally, I wouldn't marry a western woman. No way, no how, and none of my friends here in Korea would either.
Personally, I don't find them as attractive, and I find that they bitch a lot more.
But that's me, and last I checked, I was free to be an asshole without having to worry about hurting your vadge.
I also believe I'm free to post content to this board without having to worry about who I offend.
Or, more accurately I believe I'm allowed to post content that I might not fully agree with, or even slightly agree for that matter, with the express intention of offending.
Having said this, I find that this thread has lasted 16 pages and is still growing to be absolutely hilarious.

I always enjoy these threads when the insults start flying and women (sometimes men too) often look like the devil. It's funny because I have never met any of these women.
Of all the friends I have, not one is like what is often described here. I am certainely not, in fact I am a people pleaser. I go out of my way to be kind to every single person I met, man or woman. I don't whine or expect a man or any other person for that matter to take care of me. I complain only when something major happens and even then its a quick rant, I get over things quickly.
It's funny because my Korean bf used to tell me that he enjoyed being in a relationship with me because I respected his independence while maintaining my own and he didn't feel he needed to drop a lot of money to make me happy. I didn't call him at all times of the day. I wasn't upset or jealous when he went out with his friends and came home at 4 am (I didn't even make him call me). I was just as happy to hang with my friends as hang with him. I did however expect him to make kimchi fried rice once a week cuz its my favorite and in return I cooked spaghetti for him because it was his favorite. He wass free to spend his own money in his own way as long as the bills get paid first and if a major purchase was happening we would do it together. He got the digital camera, I got the ipod.
These are the male/female relationships I know. Where some of these guys are hanging out I have no idea.....
As for the guys saying they want proof this is a man's world just take a look at the numbers of violence and rape against women world wide and the amounts are staggering. The number of women living in poverty versus men, again worldwide, are heavily in favor of women being poor. The salary descrepencies world wide are staggering as well with men out earning women more often than not. The numbers of women forced into prostitution is huge. The sex trade is based on women, entirely with men often running the shows. So I guess if every once in a while a woman says "I didn't get the job because I am a women" well perhaps they should be allowed to vent every once in a while...... |

We'll disagree. Not very well written and only amusing if it were satire, and sadly, it seems it is not. Therefore, it's just some guy proclaiming to the world how lame he is. Embarassing that he doesn't seem to realize it, really. |

So first you say it was a joke, and in the next breath say you were serious?
People this guy has a long history of posting as a troll. There was even a thread in which he posted that he understood the Korean mindset of negativity towards foreigners and how he had adapted said mindset as his own. He then started attacking foreigners right and left until he was flamed off the board. He left for a while and now he's back stirring up more trouble. |

i love these threads because it proves the one reality i've seen here over the years, that is a vast majority of the western guys who post here and rail about western women wouldnt be able to get a date with a western woman if they were the last man on earth. they are intimidated by any woman who asserts themselves, they have this so 1950's ish view that women should be in the background and thats why they fit in so well here, most korean men are like that and even college educated korean women here act like that.
thats based on observation and many a conversations with many western single women here who lament about the quality of the western men here. most of those women I would be happy to date if I wasnt already married to a western woman. |

Ehn, we all know he's an idiot.
Watching him trying to rationalize his idiocy is train-wreck entertaining. |

To be honest, I think people of both genders get bitterness from time to time when they get shafted by someone from the opposite sex. I am sure you would agree. How many times do you see posts in dating forums where women and men both complain about each other. As far as Western women, there are good and bad just like the Western men.
The West includes Europe and North America. So a guy who likes Italian women may prefer them over German women or whatever.... It also boils down to temperament and what you like as a man or woman. But there are good fish out there in any country of both genders...It is easy for a person of any gender to get bitter. But it means not taking responsibility for your own negative feelings.. |

We're talking about the western world . When last did any of your friends get sold into the sex trade ? What male person working the exact same job as yourself gets a higher salary ? Which man you knows is apathetic about rape ? |

Admittedly none. How many times have I personally been asked if I'm in the sex trade and /or for sale, lost count.
What male person working the exact same job as yourself gets a higher salary ? Lots. Do you need names?
Which man you knows is apathetic about rape ? Every member of the Korean National Police that I met, Co workers, A hagwon director who was my boss at the time, and a disturbingly high number of male posters here, many of whom I've met. There was a post on this thread that got pulled, (hopefully because that poster came to his senses) asking what the big deal was about rape, wouldn't be having something like a wallet stolen be worse?
I was nauseous just reading that. |
