I have the imac notebook i've had for a few months and my question is how long should i expect the battery to last before charging?
does stuff like video conf on skype or streaming vids burn it more quickly?
Doing this it only seems to last for three or so hours... |

| There is no such thing as an imac laptop. Do you have an ibook or macbook perhaps? Yes and viedo applications will use power more than non video apps. I get 4 hours on my new macbook pro watching dvds, and that is close to, if not the industry best. |

| Hey no prob Ron, I had an older ibook g3 which I recently gave up, it got nearly 3 hours of dvd run time on the original battery and I purchased it in 2002. Mac portables have always been some of the best computers as far as battery life goes. f you havent done it already there is a battery update for the macbook's and macbook pros: battery update 1.2. You may wat to do it as it can make your battery run time better. |
