I've seen the Che's shirts since I first came here 3 years ago. At first, I thought it was rad. Then I soon realized that none of the people wearing it had any idea who it was. |

Exactly. Most people don't even know who the guy was and that from new accounts he was nothing but a bloody murderer. |

the whole thing with slogan/logo tees here makes me think i could get away with pretty much any mismatched combo of imagery/icons and make a few bucks in the korean fashion nibnob market.
i'm assuming the formula for these hideous shirt is "historical/fashion icon that koreans are totally unaware of+symbols that are totally unrelated= new hip-uh-su-tyle".
so here's a few ideas:
1. a collage of nikita kruschev, missiles, teddy bears and screamin' eagles on a tie-dyed background.
2. jesus with the sacred heart, with scattered masonic symbols like the pyramid/eye and then a few doves scattered around. on pink, of course.
3. marilyn monroe in the classic "air-vent" pose in silver ink on a black or brown shirt. she will of course be posing in front of mt. fuji, surrounded by pentagrams and other assorted symbols of wicca/witchcraft.
4. grainy aerial photo of auschwitz with gingerbread men mucking about.
5. a picture of "snap", "crackle" and "pop" making 3-way love to minnie mouse in the plaza in front of the world trade center towers.
6. baphomet beheading baby jesus in front mary, joseph and the wise men at gyeongbukgung's main gate.
i'm gonna be rich! |

Because it was also the art work of a Rage Against the Machine album. |

I'd like to hear someone say this at a RATM concert. This is great. Why not "Rage Against the Enormous Inconvenience Experienced By People Before the Onset of Modern Technology"? |

You paid attention? I sort of looked at it glazed eyed. |

After 2-3 washes, the print is virtually all gone. T shirts in Itaewon Crapolla quality. |
