You know, I always thought that if the mother was good enough at English to take offense at you writing something like, "If Sally could keep her nose out of her cell phone for more than five seconds, she'd be at the top of the class", then the mom is good enough at English to call you about it.

Of course, I know they call the Korean co-teacher because the Korean co-teacher will let themselves be yelled at, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

I refuse to write report cards, but I wouldn't have written what you did. Why would you write that?

Maybe I'll write a report on you:

If twg would take the time to think about how what he writes is perceived by a parent then maybe he wouldn't find himself in a situation such as this. I believe twg doesn't understand how the real world works. If he really thinks about it, back in his home country a teacher would never write such a thing. Maybe a "needs improvement" with a "doesn't pay enough attention and is too occupied with her cell phone" comment is probably a better way to go about it. Being abrassive with smarky, obnoxious, and offensive remarks will only lead to a deteriorating relationship with the student and her parents.

I didn't write that at all. It's just a comment on the practice of not being honest with report cards.

Nice shot though... Everyone who matters thinks you're cool now.

You're a bad man for even thinking it. Hang your head in shame.

But if that's the case, you should've written something like:

Your daughter acts like a retard and I'm beginning to think her parents are mentally incapable of raising her or are just ignorant to the fact that her behavior affects her and the people who are around her. Maybe she shouldn't have a fkn cell phone at all. Why do you send her to my class? Are you totally unaware of what she's doing or are just so stupid that you don't know whether she's learning anything or not in the class that you pay so much money for every month? I never see you anyway, so I'll just assume that you're just a couple of arseholes.

Su Jin's report card:

Why can't Su Jin read 'cat'? I don't believe it has anything to do with my teaching skills.

Perhaps the concept of a rhetorical question/statement is beyond your borderline abilities to grasp...

Perhaps I just read the post quickly and typed in something 'cause I was bored which could be indicated in my second post on this thread.

Which brings up the fact that perhaps you have no concept of anything. Except maybe freckled t1ts.

I remember that my Korean Teacher and I had to write some comments regarding students at my old hagwon. The Ko-Teacher, who i guess is a gyopo, was frustrated at the lack of performance with students and wrote a scathing report for each student in Korean. The bosses called an emergency meeting and it was a laugh to attend. You must write this not write that b*llsh*t.

I am so glad to have moved from the crapwon. No more report cards.
