I don't skate, so I've never been on the lookout for any parks. But I know there are some structures at Boramae Park in Seoul. It was a site for some events of the 2005 Asian X-Games. http://wiki.galbijim.com/index.php/Boramae_Park has some information. Also, here is a list of the sites for the 05 X-Games . . . maybe some other posters can give more information: http://www.espnstar.com/xgames/koreax/koreaxgame_skatepark.html

To get there go out of exit 2 of Boramae Station or exit 4 of Shindaebang Station. It's also about a 15-minute walk from exit 6 of Shillim Station, which itself is 30-40 minutes away by subway from the Intercity Bus Terminal in Gangnam. If you come to Seoul you can find tons of love motels around Shillim Station.

Daejeon has the bowl!!!

There's a park in Western Seoul that has a spined mini-ramp. It's near Balsam stn. (towards Gimpo) but I can't remember the park name at the moment (will post it later).

Every other mini I've skated here has sucked however
check out www.flateen.com for info on parks.

Skatparks? I hope those don't exit. Anyway, I know there are a few around. Try the search function.

What does it mean, "hope those don't exit"? And what's wrong with the skatpark idea? Sound more fun to me than booking the boring old Hilton all the time.

Or did they mean?

There are a few minis in Seoul but the two best are Dduksum and Magock.

Dduksum is the easiest to get to but is in Hanggang park and is full of kids. Magock park is usually empty but out near Gimpo airport and a bit of a treck.

Dduksum:

Magock:

Dduksum is at line 7, Dduksum Station and a bit of a walk.

Magock is line 5, Balsan Station and then bus 6632 to the badminton centre(not sure of the name). Skate park is right next door. I'll update this with the bus stop name if anyone's interested.
