I am all for polygamy, but Winona Ryder and Fairuza Balk are still playing hard to get. |

If it is consentual among adults (and not due to some crazed, powertripping authoritarian), there's no problem. Oh, and as long as there are women to go around. Polygamy wouldn't work in Korea or China as the male to female ratio is already fked and getting worse.
What about polyandry? |

I find one woman in bed intimidating and frustrating enough. What would I ever do with two? I think if I had two women in bed, they'd go at it all night and my job would be to simply bring them water.
But yeah, adults should be able to enter into any living arrangements they want. They should be able to go to court and get married and establish property and next of kin rights within their relationship.
People live in polygamous relationships right now. The courts have pretty much defined the rights of children and partners in such unions. The only thing missing is a piece of paper saying "married". |
