My friend and I saw it last night too. Really cool CG, super hot chick, mediocre story. Oh, a real downer was the non-stop product placement...

Sounds like a typical Bay movie then.

The whole movie I'm seeing F-22 raptors, Blackhawk heli's, Predator UAV, A-10's and I couldn't help but sing the Star Spangled Banner in my head.

The movie was awesome.

It rocked. A few possibly misunderstood comments about Japan were made in the movie that made the audience gasp a bit. Lol
Also felt a bit like a commercial at times.

and they kept on reffering to north korea is if it is some kind of super power with huge technological advancments...

Was clearly tailored toward an american audience in an attempt to sap remaining scraps of patriotism.

Good CGI, and a heavy body count among the humans, but scarcely a drop of blood to be seen. A bloodless, childlike view of war as 'cool toys fighting each other.' Very good robots.
Pretty decent flick, though they would've gained a lot by cutting about twenty minutes of the teenager's story. Annoying little vomit, he was...

Nope. Italy was the first to get it (June 21). That said, it was everything I'd hoped it would be! Too bad about Jazz.

I saw this flick last night... terrible, terrible, terrible movie.

I don't know why everyone is so obsessed with this garbage... I hate Michael Bay, and I really hate how he used nostalgia to entice everyone into seeing a movie that is objectively horrible, just so he could rake in millions on action figures and product placements.
