I saw this ad on the Korean Jobs page and the title caught my attention.

http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/korea/index.cgi?read=25686

I'm not looking for work right now but I'm always interested in the job market here.

The job ad seems well written and they are straight up about the "crazy" hours. The benefits are also much better than average for a hagwon.

Hence my question: Would you be willing to work those hours for those benefits?

ps. I am in no way affiliated with this school and know nothing of it except what I read in the ad.

The only thing that really counts is what you take home in your blue jeans at the end of the month.

If I didn't have a good job, Id apply.

I would take it if only it were closer to Seoul. But besides that, it's a great job by the looks of it. I hope they get a great teacher.

If I get my 3.5 mil and the other benefits, I'd take it. I don't like Seoul, and I do like the country. Tutor work is quite easy, if time consuming.

Money isn't everything but it makes misery comfortable and most "social lives are less than fulfilling.

the money isn't even very good. It would have to be at least 5 million for me to even be remotely interested.

If I had no experience.

It'd be good for someone who wants to earn a lot and doesn't want to risk working illegally.

There's no "Hell no!" option in the poll.

Being able to be lazy and spend all of your time farting around Korea is the real benefit to this job. Maybe if you're one of those over-achievers this job may seem fine, but I want to spend as little time as possible at work.
