Thanks for giving us that view of things. Lots to ponder.
I would add, why does Israel have over 40 democratically elected legislators in their prisons? Not convicted of anything. Just put away.
I think America should force the hand of Israel to make peace, on all party's terms. If America doesn't, all the crimes are also on her shoulders. Do the right thing.

BS. israel is just in its approach. israel has a right to defend herself, and everytime she does you liberals cry about it.
You liberals cried when israel voerflew Lebanon shortly after the ceas fire, you cried that it was a violation, yet none of you said a thing when enemies terrorist enemies re armed in violation of the same cease fire!
israel should not stop until the PLO terrorists are defeated.
Israel has repeatedly made overtures of peace, offering to give up LAND for Peace and the arabs constantly reject it, instead seeking Israels destruction..Arafat who whilst talking with israel of peace, funded terrorists at home to attack israel! |

Enough with the "us/them" crap and "you __________." DD's stance can be interpretted as liberal or conservative. I know a lot of Republicans and Libertarians that want the USA out of everyone's business, including Israel's. |

The muslims will never allow peace. As long as kuffar are controlling any of dar el islam jihad must be waged. So, yeah, maybe if the Jews had pulled back to 67 borders there would be less crap today. But the very existence of Israel can not be tolerated. As the CEO of al jazerra said, this is about EGO and PRIDE. Can't negotiate with that. |

Im calling BS on your post. Even in 67 while at the 67 borders, people were attempting to destroy Israel..it was a colation of Arab nations attmepting to destroy Israel in 67 that forced Israels hand in that war, so the borders didnt matter. As long as Israel exists the Arabs will find an excuse to attempt to destroy her no matter what her borders are. |

And don't forget that all of this was steaming ripe with the politics of World War 2 -- and SPECIFICALLY THAT OF HITLER.
The formative years of Israel were scarred by the introduction of Naziism into the Middle East.
Hitler LITERALLY wanted to extinguish the Jews, and he managed to spread that ideology to the Middle East, where it found a good home in many many parties, including the Baathist Parties -- same as what ruled Iraq and rules currently in Syria. The Baathist Party IS one of the first Middle East Nazi Parties.
And anyway, this was all preventable if the European Powers hadn't screwed up the Middle East so bad -- and if Europe hadn't spread its hate to the Middle East.
Whatever you want to think about the Israels -- the VAST MAJORITY of ALL of the Middle Eastern problems and issues today, fall SQUARELY ON THE BACK OF EUROPE.
And Europeans are the biggest idiots in the world for denying their influence on the region, for suggesting somehow that its all Americas fault, or worse that its all Israel's fault.
Blah blah blah.
It was it was the Germans, it was the British, it was the French. And a hell of a lot more that screwed up the Middle East permanently, and even created the whole damn situation in Iraq to say nothing of the need for Israel, to begin with.
You want someone to blame:
Blame Europe.
STILL not taking responsibility for their past!
