I'm sure there are some women who don't want to vote, don't want to drive, don't want to have a life. And I'm sure you could have found some blacks who were happy being slaves. Then again, some aren't so happy. For example...

Quote:
Margaret Madill, a Canadian nurse working in Saudi Arabia in 1993, took a taxi home with a female friend after a shopping trip in Riyadh. Suddenly a mutawa' jumped into the taxi and forced the driver to go to the headquarters of al-Mutawa'een. When they arrived, the women were locked in the taxi in the extreme heat for up to six hours. They screamed for help and were then beaten. They were accused of indecent dress and public intoxication. They were then transferred to al-Malaz prison and held for two days, before being released without charge.

The woman began talking to us about what she wants: "I like to drive. Here, the woman cannot drive. And I like here to have a cinemaa movie."

And then, finally, she said: "I like to be free. All people want to be free."

Over the past 12 months, a growing minority of Saudi women have spoken in favour of greater freedom. In the media, articles have appeared about everything from divorce law to education reform. When broadcaster Rania al-Baz allowed her face to be photographed after her husband battered her in a vicious attack, she brought to national debate the previously hidden issue of domestic violence.A petition presented to Crown Prince Abdullah over a year ago by 300 people, including female academics and journalists, demanded a series of legal and political rights for women.

Well, if those western women can't respect the laws of a Muslim country maybe they should go back to where they came from.

They were probably trying to show a bit of cleavage or were trying to lower the moral standards of the country, so I'm sure they are not innocent.

Citing one example doesn't represent the entire society.

Boy, my reasoning is so fair I should be on fox news. Wow, I'm so reasonable I almost sound like a westerner.

Actually, I gave several examples. If you need more examples of "freedoms" in Saudi Arabia, read this:

Sarcasm that undermines your own argument? Okay, so you are trolling. But what's your target?

If that is indeed what they were trying to do then they are well out of luck, as it would be virtually impossible...

I have no argument to undermine, I don't know the details of those cases, there are 2 sides to every story.

Wow, isn't democracy coooooooool.

Well shucks, fromtheuck, I feel downright chastised by your muslim wit. You're right, we americans should be out fucking goats like those classy arab boys do. Do you muslim fellers in the uk do that too? Isn't there a law? It must be tough living there. I spent more than a few years in Saudi Arabia. Boy, you gonna have a ruuuude awakening. And that's before you get to Mecca.

That's right buddy. YOU ARE FUCKED. Just like that poor little goat you've got out behind your tent in the desert...or will have.

Now, I agree that this is someone's sock. Isn't it fun to play?!

I disagree. With Muslims rotting away in Belmarsh prison, without any charge against them, they are actually going mental in your freedom-loving countries.

It's true many people for economic reasons or due to living in warzones may want to come to the U.K.

I've lived there all of my life, but I am not willing to live as a second class citizen anymore, Britain's social problems are pretty bad.

One thing I agree with, is things are going to get worse in the west for Muslims, with the war on terror declared for generations to come, I don't want to live in the U.K. anymore, no way.

I am Muslim, and as westerners regularly say, if you don't like it here why don't you go to a Muslim country?!!

My response is, well, you're right, and I'm on my way!

I will be blunt.

You are not welcome in the West. We do not want muslims in our countries, and one day we will eject you, as has been done before.

Enjoy your time in Saudi. You all deserve eachother.

I guess this is a no-brainer, but I have a question:

If the Muslim world is so pious and wonderful, why are they trying like hell to move to the lands of the Great Satan and his allies?

The even bigger question is why do they leave their cesspool failure crapshoot countries and then try and change their adopted homes in the direction of their real homes?

You think the countries of the West are police states? Good luck in Saudi Arabia.

I'm pretty sure the statistics show a net migration from Muslim states to Western states.

I really wouldn't count on that for much longer. Not for Europe and OZ, at any rate.

Well Caniff, my aim is to move to Saudi after 2 years experience in Korea.

Saudi Arabia is not in the west, it's an arabian country. I'm moving away from the west, to the Islamic world, where I belong!

Well many Islamic countries don't allow Muslims to follow Islam because they are often supported by that great supporter of democracy, the USA. So, that's why some move to the west, where they are allowed basic rights.

However, in Saudi, you're able to pray, have a beard and not be considered a threat to world peace. And that's why I'm going there.

As regards BJWD, you can't eject me, because I've already left, the U.K. is a dump and it's not only Muslims who want to leave. Loads of indigenous Brits are sick of the crime in the U.K. That's why they go to live in Spain.

BJWD, I think it's already happening to the coalition in Iraq and Afghanistan, 'being ejected'. I think your sentiments can be repeated back to you. Muslims of Iraq and Afghanistan don't want unbelievers there, you're clearly not welcome and quite frankly your being ejected by the Iraqi's and Afghanistani's everyday.

I guess you are unaware that the Muslim country you claim to love so much, Saudi Arabia, is backed to the hilt by the US.

A troll really should do better research about his subject matter.
