Hi, I'm relatively computer illiterate, but I'm curious about this. Every now and then I'll read somebody complaining about Naver and talking about how hard it is (for a Westerner) to find basic information. Mithridates, a while back, had a thread that showed why Naver is superior for finding things like restaurant and subway information. I basically just use Naver as an online Yellow Pages, and it works fine for that. But I'm curious how Naver works in general. How does it determine which pages to display first? What are the big differences between Naver and, say, Google? |
