I've been seeing Kipling brand bags and backpacks everywhere....where do I find them? And how much would it set me back? This is brand that is increasingly hard to find, at least in my part of the U.S. I tend not to care about brands, but this is just one of those things I obsess about (along with any products that have that cute Monokuro Boo pig character from Japan...don't know why I love it, I just do!).
Can I go to Dongdemun and buy a knock-off? Or are real ones somewhere? Either way, I'd like to know...
Thanks for answering my inane question... |

I bought my oldest sister a Kipling bag (it was small over the shoulder bag basically used as a purse) from Kohl's or TJ Maxx for some cheap price ($15 - $20 maybe?). Although my gf at the time picked it out and I had no idea what Kipling was. I've also seen a Kipling stores in major US airports... I didn't realize Kipling was so popular... I got her the bag over a year ago so I guess I was actually on time with a trend for once. |

kipling.com has a store locator that lists where they are sold in Korea by city, in English! |

I thought I knew all these cool brands, huh. I am going to do some research on Kipling right now. Are they cool looking or something? I guess I will find out.
I'm still trying to find this secret shop that sells North Face. I mean, everyone in Korea has something from this company but with only a minimum wage of about $3.80, gross annual salary of about $18-19,000, where are they getting them? There must be this wonderful store that sells seconds or a place that makes perfect knock-offs because even I can't afford to spend $300 and way up for a North Face winter jacket.
Directions anyone? Thanks. |
