Does anyone know a good game for teaching should or shouldn't?
It's for first year middle school students

Do things you should and shouldn't do.

Say "thank you." Should
Smoke. Shouldn't
Hit women. Shouldn't, but in Korea, this will be hard for them to understand.

Tell them you want to improve your Korean / find a girlfriend / learn to be a good cook / be cool and ask for their advice. Then you could also make up a list on the board as previously posted, two columns, one for "should" and one for "shouldn't."

If their level is high enough you might print out some "Dear Abby" (an advice columnist) letters from the web, tell them the problem, ask for their advice, show them what Abby said and see if they agree or not.
Then have them write letters asking for advice, swap them around and have them reply to other students' letters.

First, find the Korean translation for should and shouldn't. Split the board into two sections. Should (and translation) on the left. Shouldn't (translation) on the right.

Have a bunch of flash cards. For example, brush your teeth in the morning, eat healthy food, speak loudly in class, punch the teacher, kick the desk teacher, bow to your parents, eat dung, etc....

Hold one up and say "should" or "shouldn't." After they answer, paste it to he board.

You can also have the write the answers on a paper at their desks, or they can do it in groups of three or four when youhold up the flash cards. After all the flash cards are finished, review where they go. Groups get a point for putting the answers in the right section.

Should 해야만 한다

Shouldn't 해서는 안된다

you can do a guess where it is game with some different places eg, library, classroom, swimming pool, etc

you shouldn't speak loudly, you shouldn't take a book without blah blah blah, keep giving rules until they guess the place
