I bought a Samsung HD in the US before coming to Korea. I threw it in an external enclosure. Anyways, the drive is being weird and is making clicking sounds when its trying to read. The warranty is still good.

How do I get the A/S?

HD clicking noise is a symptom of an impeding failure. i would backup your files as soon as possible.

Take it back. They will replace it.

Backing up the data is a problem. Its 400GB hard drive. My next biggest Hard Drive is 250GB.

I know back in the US, they get your credit card number and they'll mail you the new drive and give you like 3 weeks to send back the old one. If they did that then I could just transfer the data from the old one to the new.

Otherwise, I'd go to Best Buy or Circuit City, buy a big hard drive and "borrow" it for a few days. After I got the new drive, I'd take the borrowed one back for a full refund.

Not sure if I can pull that off here though.
