Are you concerned that you may out yourself one day accidentally or eventually?

As connected as we all are, I am surprised that there is not more co-mingling. If it were the Lee's KSL Cafe, in the US, we would have our own ghetto, I suppose, and 90% of us would live there, eat there, go to church there, and boink there. Very Happy They would call it Dave-Dong. Laughing

I lived in a villa that housed three other posters for a while. Having the usual soap operas that happen in close quarters get played out online really sucked.

I posted earlier that I had posted my pic and signed my name on my pms because I didn't care about being recognized.

That was true.

Before coming to Seoul, I really wanted to be active within the foreign community but, well, there was a lot I did not understand about it at the time. I was really hoping that someone would recognize me and want to chat. Then I got my wish ... Last night, I went to a bar with many foreigners and I had 6 people come up and tell me that they recognized me from Dave's. I take it back now. I felt so embarrassed to have people actually recognize me from this site.

Why? What did they do? Dance around you in a circle doing some weird geek-dance, chanting your name and smearing themselves with poop?
Or was it just that they were the geekiest geeks in the bar, and all the cool kids laughed at you for having internet 'friends?'

Haha, no not at all. They were all nice-- its just that I felt personally embarrassed for having posted my pic as an avatar. Somehow it didn't feel like I was communicating with actual people on this site until last night. Will always be more careful about my posts now...

Who, from Dave's, was dancing, chanting, and smearing themselves with poop? Was this a Dave's event?

Thinking that one is too paranoid (ergo starting this thread to learn things about one's psychoses), and then having that paranoia confirmed is a psychotic's vindication and at once a horror.

(I mean that I am a psychotic, not another poster.)

The horror, the horror!

Another advantage of having gyopo powers. I could "out" myself today and still not be recognized by the vast majority of Dave members the next day.

Yeah, but you are TOTALLY smoking hot! If I saw you I'd also come up and be a stuttering fool.

Had my first recognition last night on a rooftop bar. Very weird, but cool at the same time. People are so much nicer in real life imho. Razz

She saw me old mugface in the "Introduce your pet" thread.

Let's have an out 'o' rama.

Post links or other online references (if it's on the net, its fair game) to people whom you have discovered.

I could put up a few gems...

"malevolent"...interesting. Why did you choose that word? Is outing someone mean or evil?

People change drastically when their face is pinned to their words.

Why do you suppose that is?

You are truly a deeply disturbed person.
