Yea, the fifth season was pretty good. Lightweight division fights are pretty entertaining and fast-paced, watching BJ and Jens hate on each other was pretty entertaining as well. |

Anyone else watching season 6?
Anyone else think the more they watch it that Matt Serra is a total fucking tool?
Anyone else want to see Hughes rip his face off come fight night?
Serra got in a lucky shot (can happen to anyone) to become champ, and IMO he is not only the most undeserving to wear the belt, he's the most unchampion-like unprofessional "champion" I've ever seen the likes of. I don't like Hughes much, but I want him to tear Serra a new asshole. |

Well, I never liked Hughes, so I find it pretty funny when Serra makes fun of him (though agree he isn't the most deserving champ). I still want GSP to get serious and start kicking ass again. |

I've never liked his personailty. Seemed way too much like the musclehead jock in high school that gave the nerds a swirly. But in the ring, he's damn tough.

The way it should go down: Hughes CRUSHES Serra in 2 minutes, then Dana books Hughes-GSP II, where hopefully GSP can retake the belt. It would be a good fight either way. |

True on both accounts. I couldnt believe it when Serra beat GSP :S
I am hoping that GSP has his shit together, and destroys the winner of Hughes / Serra. Hell, I would be happy with a double knock out in Hughes / Serra.. haha. |

hate hughes, would love to see him lose every time he gets in the cage. love serras impersonation of him. i think he's a better coach, too. |

season 6 has been very enjoyable. love that it will culminate into a fight with serra and hughes for the belt. some serious wack jobs in this seasons crew. hasn't been a bad episode in the bunch thus far. |

Maybe so, but it doesn't make him any less of a complete tool.
As a champ, he's a fraud. I would be completely blown away if he ever defending that belt successfully. |

Season 1 and two were kinda cheesy with the Survivor-like challenges. Season 3 was great, I'm a huge Michael Bisping fan (there don't seem to be many of us around.) Looking forward to seeing him fight Evans tomorow.
Season 4 was kinda lame.
Season 5 was by far the most entertaining. The lightweights were a bunch of crazy mofos.
Matt Hughes is a knob, but a good fighter.
Matt Serra is unproven (for a title-holder), and annoying. But I like him as a coach.
Dana White is like a giant cancerous tumor crowing on the scrotum of the UFC. |

i don't know. i like the guy. if you've lived in new york or jersey for any amount of time you might find his personality a lot more entertaining. if i hadn't lived there i might be less tolerant.
as far as him being a fraud. bottom line is, the dude caught gsp, plain and simple. the guy has some heart, you can't deny him that... and yes, we will see whether or not he has what it takes to defend the belt.
the fact these two hate the hell out of each other makes it that much more intriguing. just looking forward to a good fight...
not to mention silva/liddel and soukjoudu(sp?)/machida on the same card! unreal. can't wait. |

He reminds me a lot of the guys back home. Bunch of backwoods hillbilly assholes. They were all complete tools.

In this sport, anyone can beat anyone, even the million to one underdogs... all it takes is a split second of less-than-100%-focus and a lucky shot. Serra wasn't close to a million-to-one underdog, but GSP could probably beat Serra 99 times out of 100. GSP got caught sleeping and Serra took advantage. It's how Hughes lost and Liddel and Couture. One punch and clean up the rest.
For Serra to win, lightning has to strike a second time. I don't see him being that lucky. He's outclassed and Hughes will shut his mouth. |
