Too bad for South Korea as they once again dominated most of the game vs Poland but had trouble with their finish around the net.
Great to see the US beat Brazil and advance however as Adu is putting on a soccer clinic... |

Yes Brazil is Brazil...
Pretty simple statement no?
They have not had their best U-20 showing this time round but they are still an extremely talented squad. |

| Good for the USA. That bodes well for soccer (or football if you like) in general. |

| ....and Canada finished dead last in the tournament. Didn't even score a goal. I know we're a hockey country but it is still embarrassing. |

| I read somewhere on the CBC breakdown of the teams--at least I think it was the CBC--you can check FIFA.com--that NZ is there because Australia joined the Asia scene. I could be wrong though--but I'm pretty sure that's why kiwiland was able to get there and aussieland was not able to. |

OK, so the Aussies are with Asia now. That can only be good for us as we have an almost guranteed showing in the u-20 world cup which will boost our player development mad amounts, given that the next best team in the region is the Solomon Islands or Tahiti.
0-2 loss to Portugal, played OK aparently, 0-1 loss to Gambia, playing craply. that's OK for us I guess.
Strong on the defence, but no finishing class up front, yep sounds like us |
