I'm looking for a frisbee. I've never seen a single person throwing one around Korea .... Does anyone know where I could purchase one? -- An internet site would be great. |

Yep, it is really hard. I couldn't find any, and then luckily one of my friends had about 20 brand new frisbees for some reason, so he gave me a couple. Still don't know why he has them. |

My roommate and I have a box full of fifty Discraft Ultrastar 175s that would say otherwise. Anybody need a real disc (or want to know about the frisbee scene out here)? PM or post...

They make all those sorts of things in China these days, but little of it makes its' way to Korea. Korea does have allot made in China, but only what its' distributors order, unlike where anything and everything ends up for sale in America. It's funny how all that stuff we associate with being American, is actually made in Asian countries, but little is be found in Korea. |

I was in Busan last weekend for a get together of the teachers from my agency. We stayed at a condo hear a beach in (some) area of town. I bought a Frisbee in a beachfront store there (and then proceeded to leave it on the beach). So that tells me that they do get here from somewhere. Still looking for one in Seoul area though. |

I've seen them for sale at Emart, Lotte Mart, Home Plus, etc. Hard to find, but they're out there.
I believe the Korean word for frisbee is "won-ban" or "원반"...not sure though. |

The toystore near my school sells frisbees. There were the regular style frisbees, plus some imitation ones that are bigger and flatter than normal frisbees. I bought the last of the good ones they had, and am still looking for more. I like to teach my club class how to play with a frisbee. |

I was just in a 1,000 won store (Daishyo?). They were selling frisbees as "dog toys!" Isn't that great? |
