Just finished season 2 a couple of nights back. It was great up until around episode 15 and got a little boring after that. The finale was great up until the last 10-15 minutes.

This show should have wrapped up when Scofield and Burrows found out that they were free men. But know, the writers decide to go another season at what seemed to be the last minute so they have Tancredi shoot and kill (??), Scofield takes the blame and ends up in a Panamanian Prison. So now season three he has to break out of a new prison with no plan or resources in place. Lame lame lame.

According to Wikipedia the show was originally only going to be two seasons.

Honestly, Korean TV sucks ass, but American TV could learn something about letting a show end when it's over and designing programs to have a limited run. Additionally the recent trend towards 6-10 week breaks mid season is stupid. Broadcast every week until the season is over or even better do two episodes a week like Korean TV and have the seasons over even quicker.

As far as prison drama's are Oz was much better. The characters on Oz like Shillinger and Adabesi were much better. Some of the actors from Oz are now on Lost.
