I don't know... but Airsoft is legal here. Its illegal in the US/Canada but they sell Airsoft equipment everywhere here, so there must be a course around. |

My students tell me they play airsoft in the street.
Urbanwafare.
Suppose it's better than playing computer games all day. |

I went to Gangchon, about 2 hours outside of Seoul, and it had paintballing. You can get pretty good packages with an hour of paintball and a couple hours of 4-wheeling through the mountains. The cost was like 50,000 won per person. Pretty cool trip. The only problem is I don't know if they have large paintball courses(or big wooded areas) to play in. Where I played was a smaller set up, but good nonetheless. Let me know if you want more info. |

I'm interested in learning more about this paintballing and 4-wheel driving business in Gangchon, sounds fun. I'd appreciate any extra info you could give. Cheers! |

Is that place easy to find? I'd love to do that.

Anyone want to organize a game? Paintball generally requires about 10-15 people at the minimum, so if everyone here agreed to go on such-and-such a time we could have a good match...
I used to play once a week for the better part of three years, then I stopped playing when I started university. Needless to say, its the only sport I've ever been good at and I miss playing it. |

That does sound like a cool trip. I'd be down for that, hopefully we get some more people interested. |

A half hour north of Jinju in Gyeongsangnamdo there's a full nature and battleground course with tunnels and walls and tires and a river and riverbank and two distinct sides, they fully equip you with all the pads, helmet and chestplate... my hagwon students and I did it last year on an events day outing (along with rafting afterwards) and it was a hoot! I will forever remember fondly recruiting two to help me outflank five grade 4-5 students and blow them away! Of course, I drew the attention of the most mischeivious grade fiver and he organized a gang to encircle us, pin us down, taking out my two accomplices and leaving me 1-on-7, so, harkening back to butch and sundance, I decided to make a run for it and got one before falling to a hail of paint pellets that indeed hurt! |

I would definetly be up for a paintball outting. I like the sounds of the place VanIslander is describing though. Sounds like a better paintball course than I'm used to.
I'm a complete newbie to Korea though so i'm not tyhe best one to place such an outting. If it ever gets done though, count me in. Just send me a PM. |
