Yum. I've been in Korea 4 years, just tried this and YUM.
I thought it looked gross all these years but its de-licious, and I don't even usually like fizzy drinks.

If you like it now, then you should try mixing it with soju......

Enjoy!

Very Happy

(you can also add a bit of that Sunkist Grapefruitade in with the Milkis and soju)

I was in the same boat as you! I was avoiding it cause I thought it looked strange, but then a Korean friend bought me one, and I drank it to "be polite". I ended up loving it!

She said when she was younger, her mother would never buy milkis for she and her brother, so they would make their own. Cider and a touch of milk (not much), apparently has the same taste. If that's all it is, it sounds utterly raunchy, but tastes oh so good.

It's pretty awesome. Anyone know if it has sodium benzoate in it or not?

I was in the same boat. Avoided and shunned, then loved.
I think it's because the name sounds like "Mucus."

Kind of like "Pokari Sweat." Sounds like the collected sweat of a pokari-beast. I was hoping the phrase "Man, I'm sweatin' like a POKARI over here!" would catch on, but it didn't.

Classic! I've often pondered the same way. Like the time Ali-G said
"Me shirt be 100 percent acryllic. A least 3 cryllics died to make this shirt'.

What exactly do you think a Pokari beast would look like?

I'm starting with a blue polar bear-esque creature.
