An external DVD burner is just an internal DVD burner in an external case.
The cost will be about 30k more to account for the cost of the case and power supply. Plugs into your USB port.
You can get them at any computer shop or make the trip to Yongsan. You may save as much as 10k won by making the trip to Yongsan compared to the cost of your local computer shop.
I got one at the computer shop downstairs in my building for 70k. |

It's more expensive to buy an "external DVD Writer" then buying an internal DVD Writer + 5.25 USB and or Firewire Enclosure.
I'd recommend an enclosure with both USB 2.0 and Firewire if you've got Firewire on your system. Firewire is sooo much faster and more stable then USB 2.0 but you've got USB 2.0 if you need it.
Also chipsets play a part. So while that $10 enclosure might seem like a steal chances are good the chipset is crap, which makes a difference in stability, transfer speeds, and compatibility. |

Umm... I said save 10k NOT pay 10k.
Most of the decent external 5.25" cases that I have seen are between 25-30k won. DVD burners run on average in the neighborhood of 50k won (unless you are doing your part shopping at a department store). |

I wasn't trying to bust on you concerning the price. I was just warning that cheap enclosures = crap performance.
And you can find internal DVD +/- Burners for under $40. |
