And people wonder why they get fat. Get a load of the Triple Whopper

Burger King are continuing their big fat strategy. The new King Kong Burger is probably enough to feed the big gorilla himself. The Triple Whopper weighs in at a stellar 1230 Calories.

*edit* just realized this isn't new - date on that page is from 2005, but it's still unbelievable that people will eat this shit.

I'd pull the tomatoes and pickles out of that mother and introduce it to my digestive system.

replace the processed slices with monterey jack cheese, mozzarella cheese or other cheese

replace the three frozen patties with one equally thick lean ground beef patty mixed with onions and spices

replace the pickles and mayo with red bell peppers and mustard

replace the calcium-enriched white flour bland bun with baked-fresh thick bun

and then I'd say that would be one fine looking hamburger!

If you're eating one every day for lunch, yeah, don't be surprised if you're a fat fluker. If you eat two a year, hey, why not.

The caloric RDA for an adult is 2000 calories. Neverminding the nutrition value, you could eat one a day and still theoretically lose weight.

Whoppers kind of gross me out sometimes. I usually get the double w/ cheese and bacon.

And I'm with another poster in that the tomatoes would be finding their way out pretty quick. Need mustard and ketchup. Why put a tomato in a hamburger when you've got ketchup.

Triple whopper's a bit much since I don't always enjoy them. I make bigger, tastier hamburgers than that at home.

A step up of sorts from the Stacker Quad: 4 patties, 4 slices of cheese, 8 strips of bacon. Doesn't beat the double bacon cheese burger promotions that they had when I was in high school. Less than 50 cents a burger. I'd get 4 just because it was so cheap...and I weighed about 120 pounds back then.

They had those when I was in Bangkok in December. Had an eating competition with some friends to see who could eat a supersized triple whopper meal the fastest. It wasn't pretty...
