...from clicking that "submit" button??? I think I've written more posts that I've erased than ones that actually made it to Dave's. You know how it is...some idiot has just written something completely stupid and with a fury of fingers you mash out a decisive, if not condesending response. Then, just before you click "submit" you realize it's not worth it. They're an a$$, they're not going to change. And you're just being an a$$ in response...

Then there are other days...

Yeah I have gotten into the habit of not submitting. It's a good habit, just getting your thoughts down and then letting them go.

Some days, tho...

I quite often don't bother, and may the pious and rational among us take our place at the right hand of God as patron saints of making internet message boards tolerable, and may those unfortunate souls who suffer, and cause others to suffer, the vices of trolling, flaming, blathering, pi$$ing, moaning, boring, etc. find salvation in this post. Come ye wasters of time and energy, both your own and others; come hither, confess your sins and BE REBORN.

Heathens. Twisted Evil

I wonder how many people have typed a response to this thread and then just couldn't go through with it.

Hey,

I've held off before too. I also post on the Hong Kong forum from time to time. It's a rather tame, helpful forum. I often wonder why daves korea forums attract so many 'rabid' posters.

That's the understatement of the day. It would be really nice if one was as intelligent as one thinks because then one would not post as much drivel as one does.

You have destroyed me. Now I'm going to crawl in a corner and die. I'm so ashamed. I think my death will make you happy, and you are so much better than me. Please, rest easy, now that you know that one who is inferior to you has left this planet to make it a better place for you.

Me too. I only hit the send button on about 40% of what I write.
