Has anyone ever gone to Gasan Digital Complex to shop for men's clothing? If so, how's the selection? Is it worth the trip? Someone told me that its the place to be. Lots of factory outlet stores and men's stuff. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

OR, where else is a good place to shop for men's clothing?

There are some good deals to had, but it will take a bit of searching.
Two weeks ago, for example, I was in the "Big W" dept. store, or called something like that, and down in B1 they where selling genuine Quiksilver clothing for 9000원, shirts and t-shirts. Sizes from M upto XL, they even had shorts and trousers.

Because it is factory outlet it can sometimes be hit and miss what the get in and when.

But if you are a plus size, by western stds, I don't hold to much hope in finding some good deals or even much choice.

I bought a suit there and some dress shirts that were reasonably priced. I would recommend taking the shirts out of the plastic wrap though because some of them will fall apart after a few washes.

That's a hop skip and a jump from my company test laboratory. I've bought Nike shoes, Umbro shorts and other stuff from around there. I don't know how much cheaper it is than other areas of Seoul though. It was just convenient for me because it's close to the research center.

Hey could someone give me a general direction of where to find these outlet type stores. I went there once thinking it was going to be this big underground subway shopping mall like at the bus station but there was nothing. I went outside, saw a Kinko's/FedEx, had a coffee at Starbucks and went home again. Couldn't see anything in the general area.

Thanks in advance.

Karibong station. LINE 1 or LINE 7

Exit 4

Continue straight for one city block. First MAJOR intersection.

Turn right and go to the next MAJOR intersection. You will See MARIO tower on your left, and the other big building W Mall on your right.

If you get lost, just ask a local where the MARIO TOWER is.

Went today and W-mall was definitely the best of the ones I went in to. Mario II (or was it Mario III) had a Quicksilver shop on the men's floor that was a hit too. Jeans and nice shirts, 20,000 won. It took forever to get to Gasan but since I scored 3 nice purchases, I'd say it was worth it! Its definitely a mission though.
