Korea's rainy season isn't bad compard to SE and South Asian countries. The month of July is usually a day or 2 of non-stop rain and then a few days of sun. Repeat for the whole month.

August's rains are from typhoons. Luckily Korea gets the tail end of these typhoons, so the rains last less than a day.

I'm at work right now and I must say, the trip over was delightful. The weather is beautiful today. Hope it stays sunny.

Mmm, Thaipoon....arrrrghh.....

Sorry I always spell it like that. (If you were a snooker fan in the mid to late nineties) you will realise its the nickname of a certain player called James Wattana.

Now sadly it seems I always write the actual storm spelling this way.

We may get hit by a typhoon this weekend. The weather people aren't sure if it will come up the peninsula or turn towards Japan.

I'm really disappointed. This rainy season has been totally weaksauce so far. There's only been one night that I would genuinely classify as a "downpour." This particular distinctive season is a real let-down.
