Its going pretty well for me so far. I got a surprise, "Oh, you dont have to teach that class today, I gave them free time". Thanks that only leaves me teaching 1 class today.

So, so far, so good.

There's nothing remotely unlucky about Friday 13th. I don't mean to insult your intelligence but you do know how it all came about don't you? The Knights Templars, the King of France, the Pope and all that?

The quote from Confucius on that website is a little disconcerting. I hate that guy! Smile

I'm not superstitious, so I'm going to be preying on others' misfortunes today.

Damn it. So that's why I dropped my hand phone (yes, i said "hand phone". Can't beat'em, join'em) in a pool of water and lost all my phone numbers and pictures. Yea, Happy *bleep'n* 13th. I'm really ticked 'cause I just got the number of a fine look'n lady last night! DAMN it....

Good thing I wrote all my names and numbers down a week ago. Anyone have any advice on retrieving the data or fix'n my phone?

Today started out unlucky, but with a happy ending. I had a couple of boxes to take to the post office, so I decided to walk. They were large-ish, but not heavy, and it takes me about 10-15 minutes to walk to the post office. I'm about five minutes into my journey when it starts downpouring. Luckily, I had an umbrella, so I was balancing my boxes and an umbrella at the same time. Just as I was about to break down and get a cab for the whole 7-8 blocks I had in front of me, a middle school boy ran up to me, arms outstretched to my boxes. I'm an American, so to me, being bum rushed by a young boy means I'm getting robbed, not I'm getting helped. I pulled my boxes a little closer to me. "Noooo!" he said. "I help!" He took BOTH of my boxes, and said, "You, umbrella." So I held the umbrella while he walked my boxes not only to the post office, but up to the counter for me as well. Nice kid. It really made my day.
